Loose fibres sit on top of your hair, so they shed onto your collar and come off on your hands. This is a pressed powder that binds to the hair and scalp where you press it.

Straight answers
Will anyone be able to tell?
Not if you match your shade and build it in thin layers. It is a matte pressed powder, so it reads as hair rather than sitting shiny on the scalp. Press it in, then soften the edge with a fingertip so there is no hard line at the front.
Will it rub off on my hands or collar?
No. This is the main difference between a pressed powder and loose fibres. Fibres sit on top of the hair and shed; this binds where you press it. The formula is waterproof and sweat-resistant, so ordinary daily wear will not lift it.
Does it work on a receding hairline, or only a thinning part?
Both, plus a thinning crown. Anywhere the scalp is showing through, the powder darkens the gap so the scalp stops catching the light. It works by reducing contrast, so it needs some hair to work with — it will not cover a fully bald area convincingly.
Does it regrow hair?
No. This is a cosmetic coverage product. It makes thinning areas look fuller while you are wearing it and washes out with shampoo. It is not a treatment and it makes no claim to affect hair growth.
What about sweating at the gym?
The formula is waterproof and sweat-resistant, so normal training will not lift it. We would not recommend swimming in it.
How do I pick my shade?
Match your roots, not your ends, and check it in daylight rather than bathroom lighting. If you are between two, most people prefer the lighter one — too dark is the usual reason powder looks obvious. Get it wrong and we will send the right shade free.
How long does one compact last?
It depends how much area you are covering and how often. Used daily on the temples and part, most people get several weeks from one compact.
